For our dynamic logo project, I decided to make a logo for the a luggage company called Biaggi that makes luggage that folds flat. They have different products that fold differently but the main idea is that larger items can be stored in small spaces.
I wanted to make a logo for each product that reflected the folding pattern of that specific item. The products tend to have the same color options so I wanted to use those colors in my design.
The first product is a tote bag that zips into the bottom of the bag creating a small pouch.
The first stage of folding it creates an interesting shape and shows off the attached pouch so I decided to use that form for it’s logo.
The second is hard luggage that folds flat. I couldn’t find a good picture of the way it folds but there are four panels inside that fold over one another to collapse the box.
I focused on those folding panels for the logo.
The third is called a hangaroo. It is a dress bag that folds over into a shoulder bag.
I tried to mimic the folded bag with the flap pulled back.
